On June 4th, 2015, the British Columbia Chapter of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA BC) hosted a one day seminar entitled GIS Anywhere, Anytime on Any Device!  This was an informative and exciting seminar that explored the direction of geospatial technology as new solutions provide access to spatial information anywhere, via mobile applications, anytime, access whenever it’s needed, and on any device or platform.  Topics for this seminar included mobile GIS, the move to HTML5, open standards, cloud, GIS integration and web based editing.

Cancellation Policy

URISA BC recognizes that on occasion plans change and individuals registered for our events may not be able to attend. However because URISA BC must make financial commitments prior to the event for meals and space, we have a cancellation policy. All registrants for an event who do not cancel at least one week prior to the event will be expected to pay their registration fee in full whether they attend the event or not. This policy applies regardless of when the registration on our site takes place. To cancel your registration, you must send an email to registration@urisabc.org. We will respond to your email indicating whether your cancellation has occurred by the cancellation deadline and whether fees are still payable. URISA BC appreciates your understanding.
