I recently retired as a Biologist with the Ministry of Environment in the 
Environmental Stewardship Division at the Surrey BC office.
I am one of the founders and Directors of the Community Mapping Network, a program of the BC Conservation Foundation http://cmnbc.ca
I was a provincial civil servant since 1978 and have worked in fisheries management and community stewardship support since then, all in the Lower Mainland Region (Powell River to Manning Park  for those who know the geography of south west BC).
