Research on the drinking water habits of Metro Vancouver residents confirmed that, while the majority preferred tap water, many still purchased water in single-use plastic bottles because it was easier to find bottled water than tap water. Metro Vancouver’s free iPhone app, Tap Map, was developed to address that convenience barrier.
