The intent of this document is to answer any questions that you may have with respect to URISA BC event sponsorship. About URISA BCURISA BC, as a chapter of the Urban & Regional Information Systems Association, is committed to fulfilling the role of a professional association which brings together all parties active and interested in the deployment of Information Technology within the public section, to promote common interests and co-operation, in order to better serve the administrative and operational requirements of British Columbia. Sponsor RegistrationTo register your organization as a sponsor for the next URISA BC event, please use our sponsor registration tool located at http://www.urisabc.org/registration/sponsor.aspx. The registration tool will prompt you for required information needed to process your sponsorship request.Please note: As vendor booths are booked, they are removed from the available booth list in the sponsor registration tool. Included with each URISA BC sponsorship is two complimentary passes to the event. To use the complimentary passes, please register the attendees using the attendee registration form located at http://www.urisabc.org/registration and select ‘Sponsor’ as the registration type. Vendor Booth inclusionsFor booth sponsorships, the following vendor amenities are available:
** There is room for a small display between the table and the wall. *** Both wireless and wired internet access is available. However, in the past the wireless connectivity has been found to be inadequate for vendor presentation purposes. Marketing MaterialsIn order to complete the event marketing materials, the following information will be required shortly after a sponsorship commitment:
URISA BC also welcomes our sponsors to provide door prizes which are awarded at the end of the event. If you are interested in donating a door prize, please mention this to the URISA BC vendor liaison when they contact you to confirm your sponsorship registration. Previous sponsorsURISA BC events have been extremely successful over the years thanks in part to many incredibly supportive sponsors. Previous event sponsors have come from every facet of the technology landscape including local, and international hardware vendors, software vendors, and consulting firms. Sponsorship PaymentAll Sponsorship fees are payable by cheque to ‘URISA BC Chapter’. Note: To secure your sponsorship, payment must be received in full prior to or at the event. If mailing the cheque, please send to: URISA BC Chapter Shipping and packages In the event Group will be shipping packages to Hotel, Group must notify Hotel at least one week in advance. All packages sent to Hotel should include the name of the Group, date of event and number of items. Shipment should arrive no earlier than (3) three days prior to event. Hotel accepts no responsibility or liability for the delivery, security or conditions of the packages. The Hotel will not be liable for any bills such as freight, courier and brokerage owed by you or any third party with whom you are doing business. Invoices receive for such will be forwarded to URBAN & REGIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS ASSOCIATION - BC and must be paid by yourselves. The shipment of (3) three boxes or less to the hotel is complimentary. There will be a charge of $5.00 per box for Shipments greater than (3) boxes. The charge for each pallet is $85.00. Pricing is per way, inbound or outbound. Please make arrangements with a shipping company to have your shipment picked up from the hotel on the last day of your meeting.
